FA cup win wasn’t enough for Chelsea who binned him off
Nothing was enough for Abramovich though - he sacked plenty of managers who won big trophies. Spurs are a bit different, they've never had a scenario like Mourinho, Di Matteo, Ancelloti etc who win the League/CL and get sacked the next season, simply because they never win the League/CL.

I admire Conte for speaking the truth but at the same time where do you expect Spurs to be with the squad of players they have? Their league position is about right really.

I mean he spent a load in the summer so it's not like he hasn't had money. I mean they spent 95 mil on Richarlison and Bissouma lmao

Not just squad, wage bill.

Conte gone to far slating the club in public like that, he's desperate to get sacked. I don't know why they don't just pull the trigger and get poch in.

I think his point is that the players aren’t putting in the work. League position isn’t a direct reflection of whether you are performing to your capabilities.

Conte is a serial winner and when he could be doing better and feels his players aren’t putting in the work he is rightly ****** off.

As he alluded to, they are happy in their mediocrity. Comfortable there. Arsenal are flying high this season. No one saw that coming and everyone would be praising them if they were merely fighting for too 4. But instead they are fighting for the league.

Yeah Spurs is a "lifestyle" club. I mean just look at Dele Alli as an example. They have always been like that for as long as I can remember.

Main issue is that Poch never got backed when they were flying high. The stadium build couldn't have come at a worse time tbh.

Both Jose and Conte have failed. Problem is the guy at the top. He accepts mediocrity.

LvG and Jose both failed at United too. I get what you're saying, I seem to recall an interview with Allan Hutton when he moved to Spurs and he said the club celebrated like crazy when they got a draw against a big side and he was like wtf we didn't win why are we celebrating a draw. So there probably is more to this relaxed atmosphere than we know.

Players have moved from Spurs to win things though.

Shame this is on ITV, Mccoist is the worst of the worst co-commentators.

Great defending when he’s full on handled the ball. The guys a tool.

Lol at this ref. Should’ve been a red for the penalty and now gets away with a blatant second yellow.

Palace were bright in the early stages. But the first goal knocked the stuffing out of them and they can't contain the overloads we are creating both centrally and on the right.
