A bit of a risky selection but midweek showed that we desperately needed some fresh legs and the 5 minutes before HT aside, that was a pretty good performance and a deserved, comfortable win.

To be fair to Coventry they've now got an epic FA Cup story to remember, coming back from 3-0, scoring the 'winner' only to be chalked off and then penalty heartbreak.

If they'd won they'd only remember the hiding City would give them in the final. Least now they can remember going out on their shields.

Undeserved.

Citeh will be laughing their socks off, after that shower of *****

It wasn't though was it. We were completely in control. Then we let Coventry back into the game. This goes back all the way to the beginning of the season in the Champions League.

There is no mentality in the team and they just panic and self implode. Time and time again.

Just seeing the Coventry disallowed goal and the calls for VAR not to rule it out/benefit of the doubt to the attacking side. While it would no doubt have been funny for Utd to have lost, the technology already has a margin of error built in, giving the attacking side the benefit of the doubt. The thickness of the lines drawn are in the attacking sides favour, meaning a forward can be up to 10cm (or 15cm?) offside and VAR would still award the goal.

Yes it was undeserved.

We all know if the VAR decision was the other way around, it would have been a goal. Because the Manc derby for the Cup final is better for TV.

What a bizarre feeling, I actually felt disappointed Coventry didn't win. They deserved it.

We deserve nothing, we are an embarrassing disgrace.

Get ETH out now, why wait for City to annihilate us in the final. The man is a complete joke.

You've been weirdly emotional recently Robbo. Who is even firing him? Ratcliffe? Isn't that exactly what we want to move away from? Who are we putting in charge? Who is making that decision? I've been critical of ETH but it is weird to blame today on him, tactically we were fine but got punished by some defensive mistakes (understandable considering the ramshackle defence we had to put out today), a fluky deflection and a dodgy penalty. What could ETH have done different today to fix that? The only thing I can see is bringing on one of the kids in defence but it would have been a ridiculously huge gamble more likely to backfire.
