missed the goal, but commentators mentioning Casemiro.. Did he **** up again
Onana received the ball and moved up the play the ball forward. Casemiro starts a leisurely stroll up the pitch, Arsenal receive the ball from Onana and just punt it up the pitch to the guy out wide who's onside by about 10m because Casemiro is still waddling forward. Cut back across goal (Casemiro in a poor position again) and goal.

I will be disappointed if he's on the pitch second half. Needs to go.

Ok we are all frustrated with Casemiro but what are the options?
In days gone by Neville or Keane would drop into CB but you would only really consider McSauce n that role as he's played it in a three for Scotland and been pretty poor.
Casemiro should be able to do well enough there, he's good in the air, generally reads the game well and likes a tackle. I actually just think he's completely shot, knows it but can't quite believe it!

Shed, shotgun?

I think Partey clips the ball? If not there's an argument for a pen.

As I said last week, Amad looks like one of United's better players, deserves his start
I didnt see that but you cant just stick a leg out like that. Amad cant continue his stride because his legs there. I dont think its as straight forward as comms suggest.

Options?
McSauce? Kambwala made the bench but I understand why he wouldn't start.

Dude, we have young players as options, Louis Jackson who was on the bench at Palace, yes it’s clutching at straws but holy ****, Casemiro is clearly not up to it, he’s barely up to putting his boots on let alone holding out our central defence.

A good manager would play a young player in position than a bad player out of position.

People say “oh but it’s the worst time to put a young player in”. Absolute rubbish. Our season is done, no one expects us to get any kind of result these last few games, even Brighton. If we concede a hat full of goals then it’s hardly out of the norm for us, if we face a shed load of shots then, well that’s just us all season.

Stop playing a washed up has been in defence

Yeah, ive only watched about 5 minutes of the game. I have no idea how poor we have been. I thoroughly expect us to collapse like a flan in a cupboard second half regardless.
Arsenal have been happy to sit on the lead. I reckon if they steppe it up they would be far too good. United have played ok given the absence of their better players. Amad has been probably the brightest and he's easily been worthy of a start ahead of Antony. The problem is that we don't have the Bruno x factor to create something out of nothing and Arsenal's defence is really excellent.
Could have been a lot worse.
