Anyway we've now had our asses handed to us which doesn't help ahead of Thursday and heaps more pressure on the manager.

I don't think there's any pressure on the manager really, the club is in a mess (as usual) and needs a good summer window. He'll be judged from next season - harshly, I'm sure.

Injuries haven't helped us at all either (Amad has been forgotten), but that can't be an excuse every season.

You've got a really good midfield, complement each other too


Only place on paper you'd say they look weak would be CB and the keeper pehaps, but those first 3 CB choices always seem to put a shift in and Botman is very good when fit.

What positions would you want the money spent in the summer?

I know Howe has his detractors but he's a good coach. They have built a decent squad and today pretty much fielded their best 11. you have to say that the signings made have been given the time and care to become good players and there are a few decent youngsters coming through. This team have played together for almost three seasons and that shows. I'm really impressed by them. They are very physical, have enough flair, decent pace and a couple of world level players.

Winning the trophy is also a catalyst to kick on. Howe deserves credit.
