Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 12th February 2025]

Nearly 3 and half minutes to decide if he was onside or not...

VAR is pathetic and not fit for purpose...

Should be 30 seconds at most to decide that with all the tech / angles etc

Didn’t even need to look at it given Konate was fouled

Ngl if I’m an Everton fan though that’s an all time result, 2 goals that should be disallowed and well beyond real time when you should be down to 10 and the equaliser being a that from a CB. Would enjoy it for a long time

Complaining about whinging while desperately attempting to troll. Top effort.

Yeah it only works one way doesn't it. Given out, call teams and fans scum or Fraudiola etc etc but levelled back against liverpool and it's trolling. You can't for a minute expect me to believe if Pep went this week and a new manager comes in next season and wins the league you all wouldn't use that as justification to run the man down.

Slots done a hell of a job.

There's no City fans on here so who would be trolled?

Honestly some of the Liverpool fans on here make me laugh with their ever changing view of what's a foul and what isn't. There's no way that's a foul on Konate.

There were Liverpool fans on here literally claiming this wasn't a foul on De Gea. It's literally more contact than that on Konate tonight....

Even Rio said it was a foul

Great to see a bit of hand bags and glad rags towards the end of the game away from the sanitised product of the Premier League.

JHFC though, The Premier League really need to look at Napoleon Oliver if he is supposed to be Elite Ref Status. It's a Derby, it's the last Derby at Goodison, take a break from flashing the yellow cards man. When I see him send off players like Dalot at Anfield last season and more cards at Everton tonight than Clinton's at Christmas, he's not upto the task to manage a big profile game
Agree, I loved the ending, players showing a bit of fight and just wanting to win!

Bit better game management but if they do you could lose control of the game pretty quickly!

Completely agree, said it before but was shot down on here. If you can’t tell whether or not it’s offside within 20 seconds it’s onside. Stop looking for reason to rule goals out.

Jones wasnt happy about Doucoure taunting the Liverpool fans, the Slot red came out of nowhere so I can only assume he said something to Oliver

Meh, these things happen they probably taunting him throughout the match, should be allowed a bit of give and take. Players aren’t robots as much as everyone wants them to be.

This made me chuckle, someone will bite surely.

He comes out with some nonsense at times as well though.

That's one opinion, the commentators said after the off side was ruled out, they didn't feel the Konate challenge would be overruled which is wasn't.

It wasn't a foul, he needs to be stronger. We all know if the name on the shirt said De Ligt, his skin colour had done a Michael Jackson-esque change to white and the crest on the shirt was United's, it wouldn't have been seen as a foul by some of the Liverpool fans on here.

I don't even see what the big deal is, Liverpool are 7 points ahead of Arsenal and I don't see that being reeled in.

A bit of common sense should have used at full time to been honest. I think Slot sarcastically shook the refs hand and said something, hardly a red.

Oliver's head had gone. He had no control of the game from the first second. He was giving fouls that weren't, booking players left, right and centre and then not giving fouls or cards that clearly were.
