Need to draw more blood than that, the new rules for a red are if you draw more blood than Gakpo had on his chest after getting kicked in it, then its a red. Same or less blood than Gakpo is a yellow.

Var NEEDS to be sending the ref to the screen to look at it. VAR only overturns obvious decisions, they don't make the decisions themselves, for something quite serious like that challenge, why isn't the ref double checking that? Newcastle very lucky.
