Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd February 2025]

I hate var. Its really ruined my enjoyment of football. Everything takes so damn long.

Being a huge NFL fan I didn't think some delays in the game would bother me but it just doesn't work in football for me. Add that to the officials seemingly getting worse every season I'm watching less and less football.

Garnacho made a good difference, it's a shame he doesn't often play that way when he starts though.

On rewatch I’m pretty sure Ashley Young cost his team a penalty with that embarrassing belly flop. And he’s still chitttering on at the ref too. Idiot.

I feel like Amorim could do with going and seeing the away fans at the end of these games but I do like that he is fuming and just flies down the tunnel to prepare to rip them a new one for being absolutely tragic.

If Young did not do a triple pike with a twist that would have been given
100% agree

I think the only thing that has gone against Everton for the penalty on review, is the way Young throws himself down to the ground.... He did that tons of times at United - the theatrical dive.

Never understood if you are pulled back, how you dive forwards.

Wild ending

We have not seen many refs decisions sent to the screen this season - and I dont see why that one was any different.

Might as well be shouting at a brick wall though.
