Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 27th December 2024]

Absolutely. The big players are really hitting some form but it’s difficult to look past Tonali as the catalyst for the resurgence, he has been superb in the way he breaks down attacks and transitions the ball so quickly in the midfield. I think if I was a Bruno-less Man Utd fan I’d be a bit worried about Monday night. He’s often been the difference between the two sides over the last couple of seasons.
At least without Bruno, you are more likely to end the game with the full 11 players...

This guy really is a richer version of Mike Ashley, all that good will down the drain for a days worth of Casemiro’s wages

Then why watch it?
Given the choice of the 2 games i thought I'd watch one of hte teams challenging for the title as i don't really watch Arsenal outside of games against us or the odd champions league game. We like to joke how arteta has spent 800 odd million to turn them into Stoke but it really isnt that far from the truth is it, the difference to the old arsenal and how they played football folks liked to watch and the current iteration is night and day. Imagine going from Wenger to the Spanish Tony Pulis and still not winning anything, end of the season is going to be fun if they end up trophyless again. They are the total opposite of Spurs and entertaining as a 'neutral'.
