The man utd rebuild job is 2-3 years minimum but how do you clear out the junk? No one is paying money for them so PSR is going to cripple them

Amorim is a good, exciting manager, but has been completely clear that he will not change how he sets his teams up. So either nobody considered whether those tactics would work with United's players (because they clearly don't), or he's getting 3 seasons, no matter how bad, to rebuild a squad to suit him. Clearly the latter must be true, or INEOS have made another huge blunder!

I think that's what Amorim and the execs would have agreed. But keep losing and he'll be gone.

I say 3 or 4 more defeats on the trot would be an issue.

He says better to implement the system now, problem is when you don't have the players to execute it. Better to adapt to the players for now

I wish we had the option like on Amazon to mute commentary. The commentary box will need a wipe down at this rate with Drury being how he is.

He hasn't got a chance to build a team. You need to realise that we have zero money and players on huge contracts. He has to get these players playing his way. No other way. He will have no money in the summer.

He certainly doesn't look like he has the personality to play for a club the size of United. The crowd are also getting knarked with him now. He waited for a Maguire pass to reach him and lost possession and you heard the crowd groan. Two mins later he misplaces an easy pass. I haven't fancied him from the start - if you contrast hs style of play with Antony Gordon they couldn't be more different and I know which one will be more effective in this league. You do have to wonder what scouting identified the need for a player like him?

Same situation Liverpool were in. Bite the bullet and sell the couple of players who they'll get good money for, do some good scouting for players from lower clubs and abroad, with a blueprint for for the team will play and scouting to match, and build slowly. Granted, Liverpool got Klopp, but either way their recruitment, and a strategy for that recruitment, was incredible.
