I expected more from Chelsea but they seemed to lack ambition. A far cry from the team that had John Terry, Lampard, Makalele, Drogba et al. Both teams lack character and I guess a degree of confidence. I was concerned about the second half as they had a strong bench but Enzo and Mudryk are clearly just there for the money. If that's the standard of the Top Six then United aren't as far away as I thought they were but it's still a long haul.

Hence why I said worse start and hopefully he improves.

On a positive note, compared to last season United do look a bit more composed at the back/when defending. Compared to last season at least. Need to get the attackers finishing though. Rasmus was poor but seems like he's the type of player who needs a run of matches to get going, plus he is young too.

Hojlund will be the big one for Amorim, he's better than Gyokeres was at the same age, can Amorim develop him so we don't need to spend €100m on Gyokeres...
