Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd - 4th November 2024]

Brighton are a really decent side but that was about as bad as first half from us as I can remember. There was no energy or urgency both in attack and defence and it was lucky Brighton didn't create more/better chances than they did. Second half was a lot better though. We really upped the tempo and it was a matter of time before we scored and once we did it was no surprise that we got the second.

Fingers crossed Ibou's injury isn't too serious because he's been a monster for us this season.

Other than losing Ten Hag it’s been a great week thus far

Second half was great from Liverpool, should’ve had 6

Lovely 3 points that, couple of moments of class decided it. good job Bournemouth for pulling the 3 points out of the bag as well, nice couple of assists from the lb I would like us to buy also

Forest in 3rd is pretty amusing tbf
Wolves only have 2 points, 1 of those points was a draw vs forest.

in their fixtures before the winter break 5 of the teams are currently in the top 10, so they might end up dropping back towards 10th, still a massive achievement over their previous year

Does the narrative that Liverpool had an easy start to the season have to change ? From 10 games they've played 3rd,4th,6th,7th,8th, 11th and the biggest, bestest, team in the world in united.

Arsenal looked awful today, I dont think they would have scored if the game was another 3 hours long. Worst performance in probably 2 years. Midfield and attack had nothing, Trossard way off form, Havertz not looking sharp at all, right now we are fighting for a top 4, not a title. A completely flat and dire performance.

If one of Villa or Chelsea avoid defeat today then the top 4 will be made up of sides that have won the European Cup, I believe, for the first time ever.
