Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [31st Aug - 1st September 2024]

I want to hear from Chris Kavanagh why he didn’t caution Pedro in the first half but did to Rice.

Refs need to start fronting up instead of just running off quietly.
There was a fair amount of dissent also in that moment of utter stupidity

From the stands it looks like Brighton got away with a few and we got picked up on everything. Crowd were awesome all the way through and all things considered a draw isn't the worst result.
Yes like they cheered when two Brighton players inadvertablily headed each other in the box and were on their backs?

Lovely support.

Going back to the Rice incident.

Being honest here.

Thems the rules.

But will it be consistent throughout the season...? Probably not.

I guess we will see.

Had the ref blown the whistle or even signalled a throw in when Pedro played it?

Didn't expect Arsenal to bottle it 3 games in!

... In all seriousness, the first Rice yellow card was fine. The second was because he kicked it away? He barely tapped the ball and got booted by Veltman (dangerous play?), law or not, pretty harsh.

Pedro punted the ball away in the first half and nothing was done.
As said consitency...

Rice didn't help his chances by rolling around for 7 days.

He did becuase he knew he had messed up.

Problem is it only brought attention to his stupidity.

Anyways, that situation over the coming months will no doubt happen again. And cards won't be dished out.

Consistency is not an offciating strong point!

On with the rest of the games now :)
