I don’t think it’s a case of Newcastle upping their game, it’s more like when teams sit back they just have no ideas and can’t rely on Gordon or Isak getting in behind like they do against the sides that attack us. The confidence is shot. I think it’ll be over by half time. I’ll miss the second half as going to the dentist to get a crown put on at 8:30 which is likely going to be more enjoyable than watching Salah run riot through the gaping hole between defence and midfield.

It doesn't look like the speediest combo.
Amorim keen to experiment which is good at this stage. Too often in the past we are forced into changes and the incoming players look a bit lost so it will be interesting to see if they can stick to the game plan. Nice that Kukonki is getting a slot on the bench. As the coach says, it's more about the performance and if we see progress.
