I can’t decide pre-game if this is a good or bad time to be playing City.

I’m going bad. 3 losses in a row, they’re gonna have a point to prove :( Haaland going to get about 7 to make up for all those sitters he’s missed recently.

A win is all that counts
No, no, no, no, the mainstream football media have brainwashed you, it's all about possession.

This is where Russell Martin's genius shines through - whilst other teams are getting distracted with nonsense like shooting, scoring goals and winning points, Southampton are smashing the stats where they really matter - who had the ball most

We're not 5th in the possession stats rankings for nothing, a frankly stunning achievement so far for a team just promoted with a manager who hasn't worked at this level before.

Hopefully he will be rewarded with another contract extension with a payrise to go with it, he's making history.

As much as we don't want City to win, do we need them to win in order to stop Liverpool from running away with the league title?

If Vincent Kompany's precedent has anything to go by...he will be the manager at Real Madrid next season.
