Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10 - 11th August 2013]

Dons 1-0 Wycombe. We were very comfortable first half, probably need to create a few more chances but we dictated the play. Next couple of matches will be interesting culminating in Fleetwood visit at the end of the month. Michael Smith is an interesting loan signing, causes defenders a lot of problems with his height and holds the ball up well. Can see why Midson was benched last game with Smith favoured instead.

Did you make it down to the game? It was a pretty decent game and I thought we played pretty well. Collins and Long put in good performances for you guys - excellent penalty save from the kid. But I fail to see why everyone raves about Maguire. I think I've seen him live 6 times now and he's been rubbish every time, including giving away a couple of penalties in the last two games!

Thought we were excellent yesterday and Forshaw had, and scored, a blinder! Looking forward to the Bramall Lane trip already :)
 
Ha!...I just flicked through and saw 'FL72 Live' how am I supposed to know that that is the football?:p

Look on the bright side... 0-0 shoots you right up the fantasy league! Best result you could hope for

I just wish we hadn't played so many shoddy balls in to the box, a lot of moves we could have made more of....i mean how many times did we have to place the ball in schemichels hands before someone would realise that it wasn't working!

All in all a good point though, they looked worrying after their subs.
