Who, Santos or Rosicky? :)

Haven't seen enough of Santos have we, he needs more time before anyone could begin to make a judgement on him. Coming into a strange league with new opponents and new teammates is hard enough, more so when your progress is disrupted by injury.

Rosicky:)...according to the all knowing DM, he's not that good and didn't deserve a new contract:rolleyes:...i think Rosicky is one of our most improved players especially in the last few games, hopefully he can carry this form till end of season.

Meh, who cares? Sometimes he's right, but he's the type of fan that will complain for the sake of it. We could do the treble and he'd find something to moan about. Wait, I just called DM a fan. :o
 
Decent enough first half.

Wish someone would just put Williamson and Obertan out of their misery, they should be bottom 7 championship players not top 7 PL.

In fairness, he has been fairly rubbish for the most part in almost every game I've seen him in for the past year or more.
 
The thing with Rosicky is that while he's often been tidy on the ball and can make space for himself, for an AM his lack of goals and chance creation has been terrible the last couple of years. That he's perked up, scored a couple and given the ball away less is good, but he needs to do it with way more consistency to win me back over. Remember when he joined and scored a few blinders from outside the box? Loooooong time ago. It might be a confidence thing, but if so it's frustrating it's taken a couple of years to get it back.

Him and Walcott have been sniffing something tonight though.

Also want to see waaay more play going down the left. Since the pressure after the goal things have settled because our play is just coming from down the right and is quite predictable, I'd like to see them switch it up more. Also when we break there have been a couple of opportunities to peel off the last man, but they keep getting caught offside, so fixing that would be nice. Newcastle could easily nick a win here and I worry there's nobody on the bench who can change the game, so we need to have gone some way to wrapping it up by 70mins.

Yeh in the past year but I'm talking about the last few games, where he has been tremendous due to Ramsey being out due to injury...I'm hoping he keeps improving as he could be a handy player for us.
 
Was about to say the same, Obertan hasn't improved with the games whatsoever. What were we thinking signing him, thanks Newcastle for taking him :p
