Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 15th March 2017]

I haven't got Klopps sub at all :( I always feel they never make sense
Im assuming Origi was brought off as well he hasnt played a lot recently but then bring on Wilson for him instead. Lucas really doesnt offer anything other than free kicks for the opposition.

The team badly needs pace and we just took a load off and replaced it with a tortoise.

Very good result and two good finishes but goal aside Can was absolutely shocking again. To be fair a few of the players weren't great but he's stealing a living at the moment. Didn't spot the runner for their goal, jogged rather than sprinted to close the Burnley player down then barely tried to block the cross. He's way to slow on and off the ball and just doesn't seem to have a footballing brain. We look so much better with Henderson in the team and he's not really a holding midfielder either.

I've made my mind up he is just not that good, had hopes he would get better over time but is going backwards. All of them in first half were poor 2nd half I wouldn't say we improved massively but enough to just edge Burnley, It hasn't made me think that we will improve v lesser sides at all though

The only positive to take from that is we won. It's remarkable how we can look so in control and confident against the better sides and yet look all over the place agains the likes of Burnley lately. It's been the lack of control and confidence in our play that's been a real concern for me over the last month. Even in January when we weren't getting the results, at least we were dominating games but today and vs Leciester we've really struggled to have any sort of control to our game - I never thought I'd say it but we're really missing Henderson in the middle of the park.

True. Coutinho was terrible but Can's been consistently poor for so long that you're shocked when he plays well. It's a shame because he's a huge talent, he's just braindead.

I thought he done well all game vs Arsenal but that game's been the exception to the rule. I definitely disagree about him being an easy target too - the way he was used under Rodgers meant he was often given a far easier ride than other players but that patience has worn thin. He's a talented player but he thinks he's better than he is and his decision making is awful - he's forever taking an extra touch and slowing down our play or running down blind alleys.
