SHocking defending, 3 players being being over by Valencia but two just stopped and stood near they didn't try and get behind the fullback to cover the space that is shocking play there. One should have gone into the space to cover and the other should have got alongside the fullback to give him less options instead they stood there watching and waiting.
When the ball came in, Liverpool were missing those two players badly, Utd got players in the box so the players remaining had to follow them deep. If those two players were edge of the box they'd have been there to be in Valencia's way and with the extra players there would have been 1-2 players edge of the box where they were needed.
I can't believe with one(for me) defender to not be completely embarrassing this year has barely played and gets dropped after playing well for two CB's who have been laughable all season.
Personally i would have tried Lovren/Kolo as that partnership I don't think has been tried more than anything else. But Kolo should be in that team somewhere, RB, CB, DM, striker, anywhere.
