I have been saying this for a few years now. It's quite amazing how we manage to have no support in attack at times and then still get hit on the break. Where are our players!?

I've always put it down to our players not being that quick. But clearly it's tactical as well, you have to pass it forward into space and create space, etc, which we don't do very often.

If we could keep releasing Martial into space, hardly anyone could catch him. Rarely happens and he has to do it all himself.
 
utd are a one man team. if martial gets inured then you have to ask where any flair, guile, pace, creativity is going to come from

a worrying though if you look at the money spent

Depay is supposed to be the same sort of player, but just looks a fraud at the moment.

Another expensive summer coming up, hopefully we'll get it right.

It's funny that we almost didn't even manage to sign Martial, and doing so cost us a fortune (which looks like it could be worth it long-term).

Edit: that could have easily been given as a penalty.
