Yup, LVG has the excuse that the team simply needed massive changes and he could only make so many. There are only so many lawyers, so much time and so many people he could bring in during one window.

Fergie... no excuse, he bought him when he looked limited at best but had plenty of chances himself to replace him properly. Moyes as well, while only two transfer windows it's not as if Moyes was busy signing up half a new squad.

I fully expect LVG with how clinical he's been so far in getting rid of players to be pushing Valencia out either in Jan or next summer.
 
Having players that can pass on the pitch makes scoring goals easier. Who would have thought? Nice passing again by Mata and Herrera and a tidy finish from the captain.
