Absolute disgusting challenge on Haidara. Useless ref hasn't seen it (no shock) he needs a very lengthy ban for that challenge.

Horrible, poor lad looks although he will be out for a while.
 
Watching that even more it should be a red. Why would you have your studs on someones knees when the balls one the floor, that was intentional!
 
Ouch that was a nasty tackle from Wigan on the Newcastle player, taken him out of the game by the looks of it....again more studs up tackles going in :/

Ref blind as a bat and should be waving a red card for the Wigan player :/
 
Just saw the tackle expecting your usual studs up tap to the knee but **** me, that's horrific. He dived in to that tackle and was practically in the air when his leading foot caught the Newcastle players knee. How his leg didn't snap backwards I'll never know.
 
Our attack has been poor this afternoon. We do all the hard work of getting the ball into the final third and then try and cross the ball on the floor through three defenders. :confused:
 
Wigan aren't that bad really, they're just stupidly inconsistent but they play some ok stuff. They're pathetic against decent teams usually mind.

Am thinking that's his cartilage or something?
 
When Wigan actually turn up they are a good side and nice to watch. They completely molested Everton last week.
 
Hope it's not too serious, he was looking like a promising you lad.

If that isn't heavily punished I don't know what should be.
