That said I can't see he did much different to the Norwich player, or really excessive force

just today they chose not to play...Won naff all today as it looks like Palace have worked out not to play Aaron Martin (we loaned him to them)

hehe, to be honest, its not a red at all, ref is a complete donkey, but some players really are daft and don't play, safe. When you're a huge guy and stocky, going on hard on someone is riskier than a smaller guy so realistically he shouldn't have made that tackle, still not a red though.
Ref I think has seen it with the Norwich player blocking it as a slight jump into the tackle, ref's are dumb, there is a difference between jumping into a challenge and hitting the floor, basically every tackle the player will be off the floor at some point, the real thing is where you are off the floor and where you land. You jump 5 metres from anyone and land 5 metres from anyone, not a red, you jump in and land on the player, its a red, you tackle and land before the player/ball, its not a foul.
Hudd was off the floor, but landed before he hit the player, and both his feet were low, it was an unlucky hit on the other player, nothing more or less, don't even think it was a yellow.

AVB wouldn't be chasing the game and risking giving it away if they'd gone out full on attack at home to a midtable(at best) side. Threw away the first half, encouraged the opposition and more importantly cost his side another half to get used to playing with the new players. AVB is just a donkey, I've yet to see him make a single intelligent decision in English football, "who should I put on the team sheet.... Falcao.... yeah ok" is about the depth of the talent he's shown so far and I can't think of another person on earth who wouldn't make that decision.
EDIT:- wtf, I had written off Brentford as losing, 2-0 down in 29 mins and well into the second half but currently 2-2. Awesome, massive massive win last game as well.
