Quinn is as bad as Owen in his own special way. Awful, awful commentator; how are there no ex-footballers capable of commenting properly apart from Neville really? Danny Mills is really good whenever I see him on MOTD extra - can't they sign him up?

Quinn's worse than Owen IMO. Owen's just boring and thick, Quinn is boring and utterly biased.

I hope they get Brad Friedel involved more fully when he retires, he's always fantastic.

Well that half was a complete car crash and Rodgers only has himself to blame. He can't keep changing the defenders and formation and expect them to form a solid unit.

Considering the players we've tried at the back and the length of time he's been here I can only assume he's oblivious to the problems we face, doesn't know how to fix them or expects our attack to bail us out but we're in big danger of being found out without Suarez this year.

Massive improvement needed in the second half in all areas of the pitch.

What's the deal with Valdes, I wasn't actually sure if you actually bought him or not, also not quite sure when he's supposed to be back from injury. IIRC he did his knee really late in the season so not sure if he's available soon or if it's another 2-3 months before he can play.

Er I've barely followed it but something about waiting to October to see if he can pass a medical or something? Hope we get him in, Mignolet is a great reaction shot stopper, he's pretty garbage at everything else
