Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 23rd December 2019]

It's okay TY will be there and make everyone love each other with his magic juice is his official Arsenal merch drinks bottle.

Man City result pretty much sums up the title this year as well. Can see LC start dropping points and falling down the table now.

Then again Kevin Keagan and his boys were 12 points ahead in January and look what happened!
Yes keagan was funny if pool loose this it will be even funnier :D

Manu dropped an 8 point lead with 6 to go, not sure anyone will match that bottle job
different league these days though. you could drop an 8 point lead in 3 games because of the dominance at the top. That's more theoretical because the fixtures dont really allgn that way but you know what i mean.

so basically it was even worse than doing that now :D

Did that also include being 4-2 up at home to Everton with 5 mins to go and bottled it?

Please I’m only just calming down from Bobbys goal

talksports are calling these yobs who are harassing AFTV Arsenal fans lol

https://talksport.com/football/646211/arsenal-fan-tv-gunners-fans-chant-everton/

if you don't like AFTV, don't watch 4Head

Indeed. This isn't North Korea, if people want to express their views and you don't like them, the answer isn't to go out of your way to try and silence or de-platform them. Most people who have something bad to say about AFTV don't even follow it regularly, they've just seen the odd clip of a couple of the regulars at their most vexed after a match when emotions are at their most heightened and form their opinion off of that. Like Robbie and the gang or not, they want to see the club do well, travel and pay to see pretty much every game, and 99% of the time aren't being any more critical than the pundits on TV, even if their language isn't always as erudite or observations as refined.

Anyway, dire game, but - clean sheet, slightly more organised looking... and now it's over to you, Mikel.

yep using AFTV as a scapegoat shows how deluded some fans are

You make it sound like AFTV is a charity and not a commercial operation, Robbie works full time for AFTV. It's literally their job to go to games and create clicks, they're not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.

I've never liked social media group/forums run by people with large egos. It happened over the years with QPR and then rival groups of fans from different places fighting amoungst each other both online and at the games.

He also knows that his massive revenue comes from the toxic nature. No one watches AFTV after they have won. Everyone watches it to see the salt from their fans.

I don't believe for one minute that Robbie wants to see Arsenal do well anymore. I'm sure he's an Arsenal supporter and he started out with good intentions but AFTV has turned into a big business purely off the back of Arsenal doing poorly and the lunatic behaviour of a section of Arsenal's fan base. It's not by accident that the same 3 or 4 people get interviewed every week. He knows that people tune in to see DT or Claude losing their **** and screaming Wenger/Kroenke/Emery out. A video from one of these guys will get 500k+ views as opposed to sub 100k views from an other fan.

I've followed this spat between AFTV and Talksport and Robbie's arguement of just wanting to give fans a voice is nonsense. If that was the case then he'd focus on interviewing more sensible fans that would give a balanced view on the situation at the club rather than interviewing some lunatic, that was talking about killing himself on twitter the other year, screaming "it's time to go". But as above, the sensible supporter will get 50k views where as the lunatic will get 700k.

If Arsenal started to do well then his views would drop significantly and he'd generate far less money. He doesn't want that.
