Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th April 2012]

We are going to lose
No we are going to lose
NO WE ARE GOING LOSE
WE ARE!
WE ARE!!!!

Stab eachother to death over who is the worst team of that two :p

We might as well have a separate thread for the title decider and let them do each other to death in there. That would at least spare the rest of us the effort of trying to find any sensible post about that and other games. :p:D

Are people forgetting that there are only 2 Man City fans on here and neither have posted for ages?

Yeah Biz has been very quite, Adrianr (?) tbf I think had enough of the SA well before City's poor run of form

One things for sure imo one team will win next Monday, there won't be no stalemate and you can guarantee the title won't be won on goal difference so one of the two teams will slip up at least once more after next Monday's game (assuming City annihilate Wolves in 30 minutes time)

Both teams still have tough games after the derby as well. Wouldn't be surprised to see City drop points at Newcastle and United drop them at Sunderland.

I look forward to the demonstration from your lot on Tuesday. ;) :p

Whatever we do won't be as embarrassing as what you lot managed this afternoon. I look forward to another demonstration from your lot Monday week. ;):p

Waits for another silly reply..........

It will be if Drogba plays the same way again :)

(There's your silly reply which is also 100% true :p)

Why is it silly, can't you take a joke? You're awful at taking any 'banter', blimey. I thought you'd know better.

The time before the derby's going to be ridiculous - both sets of fans will be trying to sound more pessimistic than their opposition. Expectation management TO THE MAX incoming.

You're surely not trying to suggest either team will beat Liverpool fans at managing expectations? For the past three months before basically every game, be it Wolves, Wigan or Utd, Liverpool fans have been doing the "I'm really not expecting to win this one" thing.

Hehe, they've been quiet since the lead disappeared, they'll be back after the derby if they win though, louder than ever :p

I'm not so sure on either counts about the title though, a score draw and one more slip up by Utd is very possible, and it could well go down to goal difference, not saying its likely but no reason why not either.

In previous seasons with a really solid Utd team I would think dropping points in 2 out of 4 games at the end of the season would be impossible, but frankly this team, for a title winning team, is poo.

And hence we lost about 7 in 8 of our league games, some pretty damn good predictions right there if it has been for a few months :)

Heh, bet i wasn't the only one who switched channel after united went 3 up.

Game over man, for a first i feel like the sap who left the game early:)

Say something though, that jelavic fella, though he didn't see much of the game, class act. Reminded me very much of the guys, cole, collymore, ferdinand ect... that were strutting their stuff in the 90's, hold the man, turn, drive and finish.

Great signing for everton.

Anyone noticing the recent influx of newcastle fans aswell :p?

I was mentioning that as well. Start of the season there was me, Panzer and one other (forgot his name :p)

Now theres loads :p

At the same time the Spurs fans have fled the forum since xmas :D
