It is a very fitting tribute, but did no other countries go through terror attacks around the same time?
A minutes silence before a football game is much more poignant, IMO. Not sure that is big enough to grab any headlines, though.
We have a shed load of history with France and they are our neighbours. We can relate to them. The events resonate far more than those far further afield.
What did/do you expect?
I'd expect a minutes silence in memory of all the people that died at the time. With the media coverage etc it's been made to appear that all the other lives outside of France don't matter.
Including those that died in Kenya and others too right?
