Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 25th February 2015]

RvP is doing a Nani at the moment. Playing really badly and deciding that the best way to rectify it is to waste as many opportunities as he can however slim the chance is of him scoring.
 
We usually have half a good game plan with LvG. We aren't playing long balls yet Fellaini is playing. We are lacking someone to make the killer pass in the final part of the pitch and he gets the nod over Mata.
 
Not a terrible first half compared to recent performances, but an awful goal to concede right after we scored a decent one. Disappointing.

Our crossing has been god awful too.
 
I'm still struggling with this. I'm sure I read that United have the best league form at the moment - something like one loss in nineteen.

But I still can't get over the style of play. It's totally risk free and limp. There's just very little to get excited about except the grinding out of wins.

I don't think you're near the top in best league form you just haven't lost many.

I know it was backs to wall defending but you had no plan B, I can see why you don't score many, just cross, cross, cross. 17 corners and I don't think you won one header? Very poor.

Also why has Karanka ruined Clayton? He used to be an attacking midfielder scoring in double figures now he just sits in front of the defence? Bizarre.
