You lucky lucky people, all of you getting to watch the Friday night West London derby on Sky. We've had a blinding couple of weeks - beating top of the table Derby at home, hammering Forest away before steaming into Millwall's backyard and taking three points.

Fulham have had a bit of a revival under Kit Symons, so I imagine they'll wipe the floor with us tonight :p

For anyone who's watching tonight, keep an eye on Moses Odubajo, our right winger who's currently filling in at right back, as well as the "David Beckham of Spanish football" Jota who may start playing wide left.

If there are any Spurs or Arsenal fans who catch the game, Pritchard on loan from Tottenham has been playing well and started his first game for the England U21s during the week. For the Arsenal, Jon Toral has been on loan and playing very well recently - may start, may be on the bench.

Night game under the Griffin park lights against a local rival - nowt better :)

If you beat them by 17 goals you go 2nd, come on you Bees! :p

Imagine that - Brentford in the automatic promotion spots. You previously mentioned you're related to PG, is that right? I bet he's loving every minute of the season so far.

He's having the time of his life, all the Brentford fans I know are.
I'm sure you will but if you can stay in the Championship for the next few years until Lionel Road is finished I think you'll cement a permanent place in the upper leagues, money isn't really an issue at the moment so all things are good :)

Got a funny feeling we'll be fine. Our staff and owner are far too sensible and pragmatic to allow us to go down any time soon. Strangely enough, money is a bit of the issue, but in the opposite way. We've got a cash-rich owner who (sensibly) wants to splash the cash but is being severely restricted by FFP. It's ridiculous. Compare us to Ipswich for example. Their owner allows them to go into £8m worth of debt each season, and that £8m is added to the tab and they now owe him something like £80m in total. Our owner allows us to go into £8m worth of debt each season, and then he simply wipes it off and leaves us in the black. Yet for some reason, FFP regard these two completely separate practices as equal. It's mind-bogglingly moronic

A bit of momentum and we could hit the Premiership in the next 2-3 years, allowing Benham significantly more freedom - although if Lionel Road isn;t completed we could end up playing at QPR or Fulham for a season

Well done Brentford, left it very late.

it was awesome. Would have been a travesty if Fulham had got a point out of that game. Not sure if you watched it but they were so long ball. I can understand trying to get the ball over the top to Rodallega, but it wasn't really working and they didn't have another game plan. They looked much more threatening when McCormack got on the ball, and he looked class last night.

We absolutely smashed them in terms of chances and quality of play, but after having a nightmare of a week and being 1-0 on 80 minutes I was ready to start weeping. 2 goals in ten minutes, not changing our style of play and now 1 point off the top of the Championship is a great place to be.

Hopefully we can bring in a bit of further depth to the squad in January, but I think the first team we have is enough to see us sit in or around the play-offs. Simply put, we're playing excellent football which means our current spot is deserved.

Wolves at home next week will be tough. Then Huddersfield away the week after - the missus' family are all massive Town fans so it's me and the old man versus about 10 of them a weekend in Yorkshire!

http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/313974/video - nom nom nom. The pass to, and first touch from, Jota for our winner were both absolute class!

Tough game for you lot today - can see Gestede causing you all kinds of problems today. Good luck :)

Cheers. Not hoping for much but I hope we put in a peformance for the fans travelling.

Good goals above!

This Hudds - Wednesday game is ok, you can see why Drenthe is now playing in the Championship, I'm sure it will be League 1 next season!

Yeah - only one way Drenthe's career is going. I reckon he's one of those players that looks ok in any side - looks ok for Real Madrid, looks or for Sheffield Wednesday.

Everton team (to play West Ham): Howard, Coleman, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, McCarthy, Osman, Barkley, Mirallas, Naismith, Lukaku.

Moyestinez

Newcastle XI: Krul, Janmaat, Williamson, Dummett, Haidara, R.Taylor, Sissoko, Colback, Cabella, Perez, Ameobi

The lesser spotted Facundo Ferreyra is on the bench.

I keep looking at the team and trying to work out why the comparison to Moyes, three strikers, Barkley, Osman who likes to get forward. What exactly makes it a Moyes style team, injuries meaning Hibbert plays?

I'm still trying to work out what would seem weirder, Brentford being a point off the top of the table(before todays games but maybe still after them), or that Newcastle could be fourth in a couple of hours and maybe for the rest of the week as well..... Newcastle fourth or Brentford joint second, both seem insane.

Oh City, what are you doing. Nice ball, good run, calm and confident control and finish.

EDIT:- Quite a different ball from Oscar, excellent cross, but almost identical control and finish(as Bony) from Costa to make it 1-0 Chelsea.

Burnley score 2 in a couple of minutes, Stoke forgot how to defend.
