Fair to say City's first real test this weekend? I'm worryingly confident which is a bad thing to be but in last 4 games against City we've been comfortably the better side (yes even the FA Cup Semi Final). The only thing we've yet to face, is them with Nasri and Aguero in the side. Nasri usually goes missing against us (well he did in his Arsenal days) so it might all go down to how Aguero plays, hopefully City stick him on the bench and play Balotelli as he's probably the easiest to deal with (Dzeko always scores against us regardless of how poorly he plays)

Think Fergie will keep faith with Evans and leave Vidic on the bench especially after his Red card last night (even if it was undeserved). Keep Hernandez on the bench as the super sub should we need him.

---------------De Gea---------------
Jones---Ferdinand---Evans---Evra
Nani---Fletcher---Anderson---Young
---------------Rooney
------------------Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Vidic, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Hernandez

city have accelerated since then. i don't think you quite have the psychological edge you used to and your last 2 prem games against liverpool and even norwich, you were poor. i really hope you beat them as they're doing my head in but if they're playing right, they could smash 3 past you with no reply.

Cities form isn't as important as uniteds as they have so many good players they can throw into an already mature and strong team. meanwhile at fortress OT form is everything. if Rooney and nani aren't n song we have virtually no chance of getting 3 points. i think we have seen that pattern for the last few games at least..

Start with strongest team possible imo - esp against title contenders (well they are certainly are now, which might not be the case in a few months time) - so you have to include Jones and Vidic (sorry Rio but yur a bit part player at best) and Chicharito

SAF has to start being consistant with team selection (or at least more consistant than is currently happening) otherwise there will be no way back to the free flowing attacking game from the start of the season - and the team will continue to stutter as it has been recently

We (wolves) really have to win against Swansea. I think its 1 point from 18 possible recently.

While I expected another relegation battle this year, we dont seem to really care, and McCarthy seems to be making some odd selections. Absolutely must win, I think!

Any word on Cleverley?

Was hoping he would have played by now (as rumoured a week or so ago) but as he didnt mid-week - Im guessing he could be a sub on Sunday or get an outing (for fitness purposes) in the League cup game next week

From everything Ive heard/read, he is that close to making a come back anyway

Pretty sure as of the Liverpool game neither him nor Rafa were even back in full training. Aldershot would be the ideal game to bring him back into the mix but even that may be too soon for him

Daily Fail suggesting TC had three days of intensive solo training while the squad were in Romania for CL - so at best it sounds like a spot on the bench (or as you suggest the Aldershot game)

If anything about the report is true of course :)
