I remember at the start of last season when Arsenal scored an og against us in similar circumstances and one of the ex-refs said that by the letter of the law, the player is only interfering with play once he touches the ball (unless he's blocking the keepers sight) and the correct decision was to award the goal.
So someone could stand directly in front of the keeper from any free kick / at any point in time during the game and as long as they don't touch it it's not offside? Ridiculous.
Dominated at home by a **** Newcastle side, this is a new low.
2-1 now. Still very unhappy I couldn't go...so I made up for it by booking my train tickets for Crewe away... in February!![]()
Not watching the game, is fergie's shocking team selection partly to blame? Scholes, giggs and Carrick can't play in the same midfield.

Totally missed that Colchester had a red card, like the look of their chances, cold, probably wet 10 men from early on and chasing the game they should tire early you would hope.
I can't believe there is a chance we can go top with the game in hand and a 6 point game potentially to 3rd place. Sheffield play Doncaster on new years day as well so hopefully a draw and both drop points.
