Every chance you could be 9 points clear by Sunday night. QPR will be difficult to beat at Loftus Road and I wouldn't be surprised if United drop points this weekend

There is a chance QPR will win because, thats football, but they aren't going to be difficult to beat, they are worse and worse under Redknapp.

They've scored 4 goals in their last 9 games, and yeah they've had a bunch of clean sheets or low conceding games, but up till a couple games ago Ryan Nelson was in the team and playing brilliantly, he left, they still managed a clean sheet against a very poor Norwich, but got torn a new one against Swansea. Nelson was by a massive margin their best defender, the teams Redknapp puts out without him are a joke defensively, and offensively, they can barely score.

Outside of Norwich, you're talking about mostly conceding 65-70% of the possesion 15-25 shots, and having almost no shots themselves(they shot a lot against Swansea oddly, but only got the one).

Without Nelson, they're going to start leaking goals, and with 30% possesion, no strikers, and Redknapp sticking with the likes of Onouha, Derry, SWP in the team... lol.

Paul Lambert has said exactly one sensible thing in his entire life "the last 12 games of the season are like 12 cup finals" which applies to everyone from West Ham down.

As such I'll be desperately following the game on sunday at home as the trip to Newcastle was just too far and expensive, despite being such a massive game!

Oh and QPR will loose miserably, DM summed it up, can't defend, can't score and Norwich are in real trouble (since about early December) as everyone worked out what to do against Grant Holt.

I would say there is a higher chance of United beating QPR and Man City losing/drawing to Chelsea, than the other way around :p

Il probably be completely wrong though. :D

No Rooney or Jones (obviously) against QPR on Saturday, with that in mind I hope to see...

--------------De Gea--------------
Rafael--Ferdinand--Evans--Evra
Nani---Carrick---Giggs---Young
--------------RVP
---------------Hernandez

Subs: Lindegaard, Smalling, Vidic, Cleverley, Valencia, Kagawa, Welbeck

Expecting a tight game, wouldn't surprise me if we drop points.

EDIT: On Sunday's game I reckon City to win 2-1 with another unconvincing performance

I have no motivation to go out of my way and find somewhere to watch the Arsenal match. No doubt it'll be the same players letting the others down and the same questionable tactical decisions from Wenger. We should really be beating Villa at home but then we should really be beating Blackburn at home too. If the players aren't motivated for this game then I'm not sure what more motivation they'd need, maybe if Wenger didn't take such a socialist view on the wage structure perhaps some lesser earners would put a bit more effort in.

Not a good start to the weekend for Bury. One nil up, then conceding 3 times in 9 minutes. 4-1 to Notts Co now :( I like Bury. Given their small support and lack of money, they do one of the best jobs in the football league at staying afloat each season. Getting relegated this year would be a tough pill to swallow...

Starting to be quite a gap there at the bottom, 6 points behind and played a game more doesn't look great.

Semi decent weekend for Brentford get back into winning ways, four of the guys above us are playing each other so only so many points available for those above. With the games in hand we're in a fairly decent position though being 7th never looks nice when you want automatic promotion. The form since the Chelsea game was announced hasn't been great, see how they react after last weekend.

Yeah, would rather Scunthorpe or Preston went down instead of Bury.

Should be a decent game tomorrow. Walsall are on a bit of a role at the moment, could be quite tricky. With the two very decent loanees coming in this week, hopefully that should prove the necessary boost to put us in the automatic places within the next 5-10 games.

I can't imagine many teams would want to face a front six consisting of Donaldson, Wright-Philipps, Trotta/Hayes, Forshaw, Forrester and Douglas! I'm feeling very good about the run in (normally a bad sign :p) but I reckon each of the teams above us will have a rocky spell over the next 15 games.

On another note, I read today that Di Canio was on £850,000 pa, with a 100% bonus for promotion!? No wonder Swindon are massively in debt! That's salary probably equals the combined salaries of the other play-off managers...

I wish I could get down and see them more, knee's worse than ever at the moment... I really can't cope with cold weather at all.

Is Trotta actually any good, I've seen very little of him play, he seemed comparitively very poor in the second half of the first game against Chelsea. He got a goal which is great but before that he seemed to make the wrong choice a lot and after half time I couldn't tell if he was just knackered or a bit poo.

Di Canio just cracks me up, the story about their midnight raid was hilarious yet, almost exactly what you'd expect from the nutter. I'm sure I read their debt was 17million or something, and he's supposedly spent a lot though I don't know where that started from, if they like so many other clubs were 5mil in debt and spent 5mil hoping to get a couple promotions to a league where 10mil was a more manageable debt. You can cope with a 10mil debt in the championship better than you can deal with a 2mil debt in league 2. Di Canio's wage isn't a huge deal, around a mil to get 2 promotions and way more income isn't bad, though is he doing that through quality managing/coaching/scouting or just buying and spending championship wages on players.

Still very odd he left, okay the current owners lied to him and sold a player out from underneath him, you can't blame them, I wouldn't want to be in a room with Di Canio and give him bad news, not without some riot police on hand. But considering it looks like they will be sold pretty soon and he still had an excellent chance of promotion even if the owners screwed him..... he's great entertainment in football, always has been, but the kind of player you don't want at your own club, too mental.

I dread to think what the atmosphere will be like at the Emirates if we don't beat Villa. Saying that, I expect us to win by a couple of goals.

This is usually the kind of BS game where Walcott will get a couple, Gervinho might play and get one, and the rare game a fullback scores a goal, we'll still concede but it will be one of those 5-2/6-1's we have against the bottom three, and suddenly the press/Wenger/Walcott will be saying how good we really are, ignoring the quality of the opposition.

If we did lose it, it wouldn't be that surprising, its not really the quality of opposition that seems to matter any more, just randomly we're either crap or pretty good with no particular pattern to which teams we're good or bad against.

Villa are much the same, just with a lot more losses and wins than us, they played pretty damn well against Liverpool, and a few other games, but who and when they'll turn up against no one knows.

You never know, could be a game where Villa are actually really good and we play better and win.

I see Fergie's made another statement about how he hopes Nani will stay because he's a match winner.....well how about you try starting him then? Pretty embarrassing when Valencia can play as **** as he wants and still starts week in, week out. Nani only comes on when someone gets injured and then almost single-handedly wins the game. Will Nani start against Madrid? I'd be ******* surprised.

Trotta is genuinely a very decent finisher, his goals to shots ratoi is excellent. The issue is, when you play a poacher-type player up front on his own it'll never work too well. Expecting a lazy goal hanger (which he's very good at) to run his socks off is unreasonable.

Di Canio sounds like a nightmare to manage from the boardroom. If you go onto Twitter and find their outgoing chairman (think he's called Andrew Black) he gave a very fair account of what actually happened - he posted it the night before last. It basically shows Di Canio to be a childish and petty bloke. He had by far the biggest budget in League Two last year, one of the biggest budgets this year, and threw his toys out the pram when he broke the salary cap limits...

Pretty much how i feel but im stuck at work till 6pm today so i guess ill try and find a stream to watch it so that i can further punish myself :p.

Not really sure if we will win or draw, the way we have been playing lately makes me wonder if the players on the pitch will finally decide to wake up and play some football:p. Whereas Villa who are fighting for survival will probably be up for it so i expect us to struggle as usual, concede a goal or 2 but hopefully we will win. If we dont then i really dont think we deserve CL football if we cant beat relegation bound teams.
