Well this is the weekend to do it (with teams that we should be challanging against playing each other - Arsenal/Everton and City /Liverpool - at least two HAVE to drop points)

Just covering myself in case some smart *** wanted to suggest Burnley lol

After Chelsea's first-half performance the other night, I'm just hoping we leave Stamford Bridge with some confidence intact!

Big game tomorrow, hopefully our first three points at home this season. Birmingham look an ok side, but the match will be tricky given the return of fan favourite Clayton Donaldson who jumped ship last season. Also, there's a recent disliking of Birmingham by Brentford going back about twenty years.

In 1995 only one team went up automatically from League One - 1 team! It's ridiculous. Anyway, we lead the division for most of the season, but with a few games left we bottled it away at Birmingham, who ended up getting promoted at our expense and then set about buying our players!

Just worth pointing out for those that won't check other thread and might not know. Bayern vs Wolfsberg at 7.30 and following after we have the second leg of the Spanish supercup, Atletico vs Real Madrid at 9.30.

So some good football to kick off the weekend.

Herrera injured now. :/

RvP is back at least. Rojo doesn't have a work permit yet so can't play.

:o

It gets worse doesn't it.

Id love to be a fly on the wall and try and understand what if anything is actually being done, and what the potential problems are.

Thats probably another loss on the cards then. Our midfield will end up as Fletcher and Cleverley at this rate. Even with a full strength squad we don't look great and right now we look **** apart from the front 3.
