It was a massive change when Kenny left the club.

Mark Bright needs to shut his vagina. Been bitching about Liverpool, the style of football we play (passing football won't win anything apparently) and just about everything he can all game.
 
Had plenty of opportunity to win and couldn't as per usual. Performance is fine for that game bar putting the ball in the net.

Will be happy if we get 4 points of our next 2 games.
 
Think it is fair to say we were the better team in the first half and hence the change from Swansea, second half was more even/Swansea looked more threatening at times.
 
Our starting team vs West Ham is: Lloris, Walker, Caulker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Sandro, Huddlestone, Lennon, Dempsey, Bale and Defoe.

And our subs today: Friedel, Gallas, Naughton, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Livermore and Carroll.

huddlestone over dembele. i assume he's not fully fit and gallas dropped :)
 
Reasonable performance and a touch unlucky not to have won. We defended well on the whole and although we lacked a bit of spark in attack, we created enough chances to have won the game. Probably should have had a pen for the foul on Agger but it was difficult for the ref to see from where he was. Need to start turning these draws into wins soon.

Swansea 0-0 Liverpool FT

Not an easy place to go so I'll take another clean sheet and a point. Thought we edged the first half and Swansea the second so a draw was probably a fair result.

Our passing and possession football is still progressing nicely but our defence has been the biggest positive over the last month or two. We're looking pretty solid again but we desperately need a first choice left back in January or the summer. Johnson's more than good enough to play there but he doesn't offer the attacking threat he does when played at right back. Bit surprised Robinson hasn't been given a chance tbh.

As for the negatives the less said about Downing the better. He overlapped Enrique a few times but chose to pass the ball back rather than take on his man and he bottled the challenge which led to Reina nearly getting killed :mad:

Our central midfield is also looking very poor now. They aren't protecting the defence and they're offering nothing going forward. Would happily see the back of them all if we had the money.
