If Costa and Remy are out for a few weeks it will be tough trying outscore teams like Man.U. with either Drogba or Solanke upfront, they need to win so won't be thinking of anything else and we are prone to letting in goals these days.
I'd happily take a draw but thanks to our great start to the season even a loss won't do us much damage although it will boost them considerably, unfortunately.

Any info on Costa's predicament?

Bolton away for us on Saturday, two 0-0 draws in a row and we need a goal. Not looking out of place in this division so far and I reckon we're an goal scorer short of 6th place.

Unfortunately cant see Utd even getting a point vs Chelsea, I guess miracles happen in football (vs QPR mainly huh Liverpool fans lol) but not on this Sunday

Fabregas, Hazard et al are more than capable of making up for missing strikers against Utd's leaky defence

I wouldn't be surprised if Costa plays but we should win without or without him. Man U have been struggling against the weak teams, I don't think they can handle Chelsea.

Sunderland v Arsenal. Both teams have 5 draws this season, the most in the league. Probably not a bad bet to put on the draw in that game. Especially after the dreadful performance in the Anderlecht game.

Sounds like Costa will play on Sunday. I think we've got a very small chance but that's it, we're most likely going to get beaten. To stand a chance the defence are going to have to raise their game a few levels.

Judging from the game vs WBA, your attack too!

Is that you Jose? :D :p you know you are going to smash United to pieces so stop being coy.

hmm not really - on another day Utd could have scored 6 vs WBA with the same chances (ADM and RvP both hit the post, and Falcao only played for the last 20 minutes due to jetlag and did more than RvP the whole match)

Defence will probably be humiliated though :(

Fat Sam..... purposefully refusing to play attacking football for what, 15 years or something, seen as a joke. Threatened with being fired unless he buys attacking players and plays attacking football..... starts weekend in fourth and takes the lead against City.

grrr, it's what bugs me about so many managers, too scared to actually try and win they become happy to not lose and just don't try for years. Being threatened with getting fired to actually get someone to play better to watch football is a ridiculous situation to be in.

West Ham have been a million times better to watch this season than the last two.

I'm excited for tomorrow's United game. Most people are writing MU off, quite rightly, however we have so many unknowns. Our best eleven is a fantastic squad, I just hope that they start to gel and become accustomed to the PL.

Well surprised it's Henderson dropped if honest, Rodgers another week of baloteli up front alone so another fail, glad lallana starts been really impressed last couple weeks. I'd also actually rest gerrard play can or Lucas as defensive mid and Henderson and Allen in middle
