I thought Stewy means miss rather than have it saved. Fair enough having your shot saved but you should really be aiming to at least get it on target.

Think there should be more training from a young age about how to take penalties, british players are right up there as the worst in the world at them.

I understand the pressure and nerves of having to step up infront of a packed stadium and take the penalty, but if they were unmarked in open play and the ball fell to their feet on the penalty spot they would slot it away 9 times out of 10, would give us a massive advantage at the Euros/World Cup.

So the cousin of the Liverpool captain misses the penalty to give the trophy to Liverpool, sounds fishy

feel for Cardiff, to even get to penalties let alone the last penalty of all (well I guess the winner is usually the last one anyway but you know what I mean) that was such a marginal game but it was good from a neatral point of view

One thing is that Reina does seem a little more prone to mistakes lately compared to a couple of years ago (maybe over simplification as I dont watch enough of Liverpool, but just from the games Ive seen and some highlights)

We didnt play at our best in fairness or near it but we won in the end! Downing/Skrtel best players for us today imo both did very well!
