Generally playing much better than a couple of months ago (let alone last season or even before that), but not converting the chances created.

I personally think it was right to rest Mkhi to hopefully get a start on Wed, although not to have Martial on the bench also was a huge mistake. As soon as rashford and lingard came off for Rooney and Fellaini we had little to no pace at all. Even Young would have been a better bet imo to come off the bench.

Utd are getting a really bad run of luck atm but hopefully it will change around soon, if the chances were not being created at all (like in previous seasons) it would be far more worrying.

That's very high expectations considering they didn't even get top 4 last season.

Neither did the teams currently in 1st or 2nd (and has to be said, its not like they dont deserve to be there either)

No, season over because we're unlikely to get top 4. We're now 11-4 for a top 4 finish.

That all said, I'm happy with the way we've been playing. There has been progress despite the points tally not showing that. I'm glad Mourinho is weeding out the bad eggs. The ones that aren't up for the fight.
