I have to say ive been pretty harsh on Giroud a few times but he did something that i thought id never see. Stories are that he saw a fan with a Man Utd top on, who then asked Giroud for a picture, which he obliged but then after the pic was taken...he said to the fellow **** Utd!!!...what a star:D

Anywho just caught the highlights on MOTD, i only managed to watch the first 30mins of the game on bt sport, was surprised that its free this weekend but had to go out with the missus. But the first half we looked sluggish, lots of possession...i think at around the 18min mark, we had close to 90% possession but Palace just blocked up the middle so was hard going.

2nd half was better i thought although the red card to Arteta was unbelievably stupid, very harsh but at least he scored a penalty...Giroud made sure of the 3 pts but putting in Ramsey's lovely chip.

All in all a tough game, didnt think it would be easy although i was saying hope Palace have their lube ready. Played well for once i thought. As for Owen on BT sport?? **** me id rather listen to Chiles commentate that that clueless muppet.

All in all a good day at the office for us, although ive heard that Flamini could be out for up to 3 weeks :/...a huge loss if true because we play so much better with him in the side, he is that midfield general we have needed for such a long time. Gnabry i thought did well when he came on.

2 pts clear of Liverpool and now the fun begins next week with Chelski and Lollerpool up next then Dortmund then Utd :/
 
Yeah Southhampton are looking good, this Pochettino is obviously half decent. The problem Southhampton will have is holding onto him.

It was a red on Arteta, he took out the last man clearly. Red card.
 
What a difference a year makes eh.

Was it about this time last year United were being pelted for having an inexperienced keeper who wasn't tough enough for the PL and we needed a keeper like Joe Hart :D
