Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 31st January 2018]

Don't like this at all, arguing over the penalty.

Edit: Agree Purdy, Milner's our penalty taker when he's on the pitch.
LOL drama queen :p they weren't having an arquement just looked normal convo to me plus salah went over after and thanked him right away.

Over all good performance however why Huddersfield never attempted to play is baffling at 1-0 they still didn't leave half just got further and further back strange tactic by them

I thought it was Sanchez marking you bad that's what you were marking out :p
At least check your posts for spelling errors before pressing submit dude:p.

Sanchez?? Who is he?? He’s not someone that plays for us anymore;).

Really strange performance from Huddersfield. Even at 2-0 down they still didn't attack. Comfortable but decent performance and really important to get back to winning ways.

Im on my phone predictive text lol I know Sanchez doesnt play for you anymore :p.but the last 2 games you won against palace and chelsea you said that it was because Sanchez had left you were playing better. :p on another note how did mkhi play i think he'll do well at arsenal i think the style of play will suit him

I know, my phone does the same as well :p

I still believe Sanchez was a disruptive influence in the team and getting rid of him was for the best. I know he played his heart out for us and I don’t wish him ill at Utd. Hope he does well there actually, just don’t want him to score against us. But the way we are defensively, even my 14 yr old nephew could score against us:p.

As for Mikhi?? Not sure how he did...I didn’t watch the game. Just the goal highlights on my sky sports app. Probably take him some time to settle in I guess.

If you look at a replay of Swansea's first goal, Swansea pass the ball past Xhaka on the edge of the box and he just casually walks towards the ball in slow motion almost, absolutely awful. It may not have made any difference but I saw him doing the exact same thing a few weeks ago when Arsenal conceded.

He's woeful, absolute garbage.

like I said think arsenals way of playing will suit mkhi and he'll do well for you

With Spurs and Liverpool above us we're not out of it until it's mathematically impossible. I still wouldn't put money on us finishing there though, best we can hope for is a decent europa league run.

Mkhi was okay, a few misplaced forward passes and he missed a sitter (eventually flagged offside but he didnt know at the time). Quite possibly the worst time to join us, he's going to take a while to fit in.

Well with our away form, which trigg posted up a page back...that’s relegation form. We are beyond crap away from home even against the weak sides, forget the the teams above us. The fact that we can’t beat weak sides away from home says it all.

So the chances of us beating the likes of Liverpool or spurs to that highly coveted 4th place is slim to none at best. Like I said we might as well forget 4th place for the forseeable future.

going to be bad tonight knowing that a Man U win is probably best for us :(

Don't think we will finish above them even if this had of happened, but had we actually beat Swansea and they lost tonight we would've been level. Granted Swansea fully deserved to beat us.

Injury filled draw is what would be best, its what Pogba would want too from our perspective
