There weren't any 'haters' as far as i can gather. It was more about his confidence. He has the ability but it sometimes takes players longer to settle in than others. A good example is Young who has settled in quite quickly. Same with Jones. :)

The penalty save will do De Gea a lot of good.
 
Shocking penalty from Van Persie and a cracking strike from Young. Sums up both sides right now.

This could end very badly for Arsenal.

Not that I dislike De Gea but he has made some blunders recently and I want him to fail miserably.

But I think De Gea will come good and be great for united, but saving one **** penalty hardly will silence doubters
