If the defender had brought the player down and the keeper was still in goal it's a red, yet if the keeper brings the player down and a defender is on the line it's not?
Surely you have more chance of scoring with a defender on the line than the keeper?
Surprised at Carroll on the bench
If he's only playing one up front then it's a pretty easy choice between Suarez and Carroll tbh.
He may have been referring to the stonewall 2nd yellow Torres should have received 2 minutes earlier.
Did you see his first yellow? Should have never been given in the first place.

The way he plays, 5 mins every 10 games, for a huge wage, he'll be playing till he's 70, no one would notice the difference.
11mins extra time at Chelsea, but everyone playing like its the dying few seconds anyway

Not that surprising. Carroll's not going to start every week with Kuyt and Suarez around. When fully fit, Suarez is probably the only member of our squad that's a safe bet to start every week.
