Mane was never going to start. As for the team, it's all about getting Firmino in the centre. Particularly in the big games that's Klopp's first pick and then he builds around that - probably the reason why we went with a diamond at Utd.

Can's fine in game's like today's. That said, had we had another wide foward then Lallana plays in midfield instead of him.

Not sure why Gini's dropped out of contention recently. He's not a particularly flashy player but he works far harder than Can, retains possession better and generally works better in a three with the other midfielders.

Not sure either if anything all he did wrong was miss some easy chances but least he was there, He does a job that gets under rated for me, kept our side ticking over and helping others efficiently. Again something Can isnt doing
