I fancy Spurs to win at OT. Its gradually coming together under AVB and Utd are there to be beat, on another day, or simply just a different ref Liverpool would've smashed Utd. Spurs should dominate the midfield, and with no Vidic, an old and slow Rio and a awful Evra there should be goals to be had.

In the last 33 Premier League games between Chelsea and Arsenal, the Blues record with Drogba playing is W7 D3 L1, while without him it is W0 D9 L13.

Fancy a boring 0-0 or an easy Arsenal win, hopefully the later to really show up Chelsea's deficiencies

Yup, you've beaten QPR(just) and Reading.... almost all the pieces are in place.

lol. Win 2 in a row against even midtable teams and talk about things coming together, and see what happens when he drops players or doesn't give players games(Ade) and how he handles the dressing room. You didn't play particularly differently in the first game compared to the last two games, you just played severely worse opposition.

Its pretty odd though, Spurs/Arsenal/Chelsea have had VERY soft starts to the season, and all three should have been hoping for 12 points +, only one achieved that. City, off last years form should have been looking for the same. They've only beaten QPR and Southampton.... okay Liverpool and Arsenal aren't bad teams but last years City would have expected to get 4 point at least, maybe all 6, and then drawing with Stoke as well.

Either way, till Spurs beat someone remotely decent I wouldn't really talk about AVB starting to get things together.

Want to see us play Carrick Anderson Nani Kagawa Rooney RVP as our midfield and forward line.

Nain and Anderson

(dont get me wrong, anderson appeared to play well the other night - but thats the 1st time in a long while thats been the case, Nani this season has been woeful but with Valencia injured at least he can play out wide right)

Given that Spurs will have Dembele in midfield I think Utd should go for a fluid but tight midfield and narrow the pitch as much as possible (although with Bale maybe that isnt so wize)

Should be interesting match either way

Gonna be a tough game for us against Chelsea, Drogba or not. But i still fancy our chances of beating them, our defence has come on leaps and bounds since last year and with Giroud scoring the other night...im hoping either him or Podolski carry on scoring for us.

Predict a 2-1 win but ill be happy with a draw at worst.

we have been a mixture of unlucky, good and woeful.

we were unlucky against newcastle (draw would've been fair) albion (should've won, conceded late) woeful against norwich (conceded late) and as we should be once we started playing together against reading and qpr. we deserved to win both those games and we did. we played well against and had 3 goals dissallowed against lazio ergo we should've won.

we are showing signs of playing some good stuff and that's with new team members, a new manager trying a different style and the loss of creativity in midfield.

we don't get bullied off the ball very often now and we still have manu and parker to return. if we get moutinho in jan, things really could come together.

vert looks a real prospect, if he could form a partnership with kaboul or caulker, hopefully we wont ship as many goals.

i don't expect us to win on saturday but we're certainly getting somewhere. all be it a bit stuttery. atleast AVB knows the basics, ie how to change a formation that isn't working. had we not changed things in the second half against qpr, i'd be very worried.

i would like to see lloris given a game against united but friedel hasn't really done much wrong. i'd like to see lloris show what he can do.

Hope to see this against Spurs

-------------De Gea-------------
Rafael---Evans---Ferdinand---Buttner
Nani---Carrick---Scholes---Cleverley
-------------Rooney
---------------RVP

Subs: Lindegaard, Wotton, Evra, Anderson, Kagawa, Hernandez, Welbeck

Of course I'm fully aware Lindegaard will be in goal and Evra probably at left back :(

You don't want Kagawa starting?

Not now Rooney is back no

I guess it could be a toss up between him and Cleverley for a spot on the left hand side but for me Kagawa hasn't been all that since signing so probably could do with a stint on the bench
