Joke of a performance from us in every sense, Typical again we drop the points vs a club in the bottom three we are consistent at it, Need Spurs to do us a massive favor and beat Chelsea
 
Chelsea can go 8pts clear if they Spurs Wednesday, it's starting to look like a one horse race. Even if Spurs beat them Liverpool have failed to really capitalise.

After the last international break it never looked like we've been anyway good enough, we've fluked results and it's catching up with us. Honestly think we could struggle to finish top 4.
 
Terrible performance. It's easy with hindsight but to only make 1 change from Saturday cost us. The pitch was awful so we couldn't knock the ball about and nobody had any energy to really push on and make something happen.

Can't complain about the decisions for the penalties but the free-kick that led to the 2nd pen was an absolute joke decision.
 
So following Puels so called 'big week', Southampton have put in 3 utterly abysmal performances, 0 points from 9, 9 conceded (14 in the season prior!), 2 scored, 2 red cards.

Puel needs to pull a miracle out of his backside sooner rather than later.

Perhaps there is some tactical reason why thinks that Lingard is more suited to the opposition or he's still playing mind games with Martial to show him who's boss...

Hard to say at the moment. He was on the end of a nasty challenge just a couple of days ago so he may just be rested as a precaution.
