1-0 Newcastle HT

No firepower, no cutting edge. Still think we'll be bottom half by the time we get the chance to rectify our problems in January and by then we'll be too far behind Everton, Newcastle and Spurs to catch up :(

lol, sure, trying to play like Arsenal of old and like current Barca, sure.... we'll even ignore that Barca currently based their game on purely possession football and 90% slow build up, neat short passing and not rushing the chance, and Arsenal of old were a pure all out attack team, full of pace, hugely based on counter attacking with so many goals coming from quick breaks. As in Arsenal of old and current Barca don't play anything alike, at all.
 
Liverpool just can't create any threat on goal when they have the momentum. They seem to be overly reliant on refereeing decisions which I think is why they are so bitter when they don't go their way.

Everton will tired out due to lack of squad and spurs aren't really flying are they? 6-9 point defecit by christmas and with good transfers during the jan window and we can catch them.

We've still got two months to go though which will likely see us further away from the teams we should be competing with.
 
We were poor first 30mins but played our way in after that.

Looked worthy of the goal and hopefully we don't try to sit back now, that will end in disaster :p

It's taken us half an hour to get going in almost every game this season.

The only difference today has been that we weren't a goal or two down by then. :o

Have to feel sorry for the crowd there.
