Why do none of our players give a ****. We stroke the ball around gently. Don't fight for 50/50s, don't chase down the opposition, can't be bothered to make runs.
 
Who is blackett? He seems to have suddenly appeared.

Van Gaal seems to have been playing an awful lot of youngsters. Who's on the UTD injury list?
 
Would there be anything left of Valencias game if he was not allowed to run 5 yards, check back on himself and gently tap it back and inside.

Yup, I don't know why you bought Mata either. ;)

Di Maria was a player Real would have kept but for marketing reasons they wanted a big buy and that was the position available. Ozil they pushed out regardless of Bale, they pushed Di Maria inside and looked a better team without Ozil.

Chelsea couldn't find a real position for Mata, he wasn't good enough and they shoved him out and improved as a result.

That isn't to say Utd couldn't buy him but they(and Arsenal with Ozil) should have realised they were getting players who are a level below the top class, but paid top class prices for them.

Mata for 15mil as a squad player and occasional starter, fine, 37mil as a star man, mental, same for Ozil.

There are serious psychological issues which are affecting their confidence.
Perhaps they need a team psychiatrist to get the players thinking like winners again.

The players seem genuinely scared to pass and push forward.

13 minutes to go and still 0-0 against Burnley. Damn it, we need 3 points.
 
We are suffering from low confidence but mainly from having a **** defence and midfield. Without so many injuries we would be fine but even with those injuries we shouldn't have these issues.
 
lol Mata was actually ahead of the player but cut back to make space, didn't want to fight. Two people ahead of him with the team somewhat backing off... so passed it slow and high wide to the point where Valencia was stood still waiting for it and Burnley player came across.


Then Valencia does his "if I concentrate hard enough I can make this ball pass through physical matter" trick... it's never worked because he doesn't have that superpower.

Then Mata takes a woeful shot, again.
