If anything he'd be putting more pressure on Guardiola by winning the UCL and not finishing top four

Seems a good plan to me.. especially considering he already has a title under his belt.

Pretty terrible attitude to the league and unprofessional the way he's seemingly throwing fourth away. Perhaps the club shouldn't have been so fair and just sacked him with no notice at the end of the season. What a flop he's been with the squad he has that United are even in sniffing distance tells you city did the right thing binning him.
