Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 5th December 2019]

Back to back wins for Southampton. Big 6 points for us. But... we just about scraped through both of them against pretty much the other two worst teams in the league.

When we attack, we seem comfortable. Then we get 1 or 2 in front and try to defend the lead, invite teams on and then remember we can't defend. We were lucky not to draw both the Watford and Norwich games.

We won't get anything from Newcastle, West Ham or Villa if we keep trying to sit back and defend leads. Chelsea and Palace will tear us apart if we haven't bucked our ideas up by the end of the month.
 
Liverpool are going to throw this away, letting Everton have too much of the ball and too many set pieces, we've already seen the Liverpool cannot defend a set piece
 
Is VVD still drunk from the awards night, played three or four passes across the back and only narrowly missed an Everton player.

Shouldn't need to go down, caught him and knocked him off balance, this is why players go to ground because if you don't you won't be given a penalty.

Anywhere else on the pitch and the ref gives a freekick for that.
