Ridiculous goal, especially when you consider he was probably the worst player on the pitch up till that point.

If you actually scrutinise leftys in the PL a lot have the ability to hit it a lot harder than righties. Adam has already had a hard shot, Kolarov, Hitzelsberger, Edman, Robert, Ben Arfa, Mijhalovic, they're off the top of my head. It's weird.

Right, but more so than righties? Ben Arfa scored a lot of belters with his right foot too. Is it not just more noticeable/memorable when weirdo lefty buries it top corner?

Maybe but I just can name more lefties with silly hard shots than righties.
Ben Arfa was ridiculously one footed so I'd be surprised if he scored many on his right.
