No excuses, Liverpool have done this quite a number of times this season. Bagging a good lead and nearly letting it slip. Happened so many times.

Remember this last week - "It’s not difficult to coach to just get 10 players right on your 18-yard box." :D :D

Rodgers showed his inexperience really and actually made very poor subs. At 3-1 when the momentum was clearly shifting and Suarez/Sturridge looked extremely tired he should have made more defensive substitutions (to be fair to those two players neither looked fully fit and they put in a massive shift regardless). Let's be real, it was never going to be a 9-0 game to Liverpool against a Pulis team, most teams are lucky to score one or two against them when they are at home.

Who got carried away? No one thought it was our title and we've all bloody well enjoyed a fun as **** ride. Haven't had this much fun since 08/09

Some of the fans had, maybe some of the players too.

There were League Champions t-shirts being sold outside Anfield before the Chelsea game... insanity!

Jamie Carragher doesn't seem surprised, I think he saw this coming.

You'll have to analyse that for me some more.

So Moses who will have been brought on for high energy to track back (that time he did against that fast as **** #7 lad).

Suarez you don't bring off, still working hard, not that tired.

Also we'd just be laughing it off had we finished a tap in at the end, criticise Rodgers all you want but its certain players who are absolutely garbage. Glen being one and Lucas has been useless sadly for the most part under Brendan =/

You'll have to find me these players or fans saying we had the league won. Not believing we could do it, as I did think there was a chance a couple of games ago, that isn't getting carried away but people who thought we had it won is a different matter.

Carra is spot on though.

And if he did that and it was 3-3 at the end you would be screaming why did he change from a formation that was looking to score 6 goals! Every single manager ever, the hindsight police can pull apart and say they lacked experience and made the wrong call. If you felt that at 3-1 why didn't you post that here?

Rodgers has taken a team almost all of us thought would just about get in the top 4 if they were lucky to a hair of the title. Manager of the year by a mile.

Gahh saw the gif that Purdy posted up, only for Rotty to delete it...why?? it was quite funny i thought and summed up the game...

I know how the Liverpool fans feel though, seeing as my team always seems to **** up their chances of winning the title...tonight was a deja vu moment for me as i remember when we went to Brum a few yrs back and ****ed up our title chances by losing to them:(.

Been an entertaining season so far with the race for the title being really close. I think if Villa get a result against City then its game on for Liverpool...all is not lost yet.

We have still done well this year, whilst there is still a slim chance I think that's it and we will finish 2nd over all proud of what the players did this year. Suarez showed he is world class. Next season sort defence and try again
