It did have the look of an intentional stamp but only in slow motion on second viewing. Would like to see again at full speed.

Very hard to tell if it's a stamp, Ramires a while back, the guy went across kicked the ball out and Ramires changed his stride to aim at his leg and had plenty of time to react. There, he's pretty much stepping down already then Jan moves his leg under his foot. Far harder to tell, far less time to react. Didn't look good but really couldn't tell if it was intentional or not.

We are full of really poor players. Buttner, Fellaini, Carrick, Valencia and those are just the ones are currently on the pitch. This is embarassing. What is the idea with the team on the pitch at the moment. What are the tactics?

my thinking is that its 70% the players fault for such a dire season and not much on moyes fault.

i do not even think Morinho would have done that much better with this side. Maybe a top 4 challenge if your lucky but arsenal would have still pipped this united side for 4th spot regardless of who was managing this team.

all in my opinion of course

Mourinho woulda defo done better, he'd have us defending, keeping loadsa clean sheets but he'd also have two world class strikers he craves to get us goals.

Thats almost always the case with a football team. The players have to perform on the pitch but it is the manager who motivates them and decides the tactics / style of play and signings.

Moyes was god awful in every aspect of managing us and Giggs has shown that he is nowhere near ready to manage either. I know that the Jones injury early in this game will have put a spanner in the works of his tactics but yet again we had a bunch of players with no clear game plan, poor choices like Felliani as an AM and very unbalanced selection in general.

Ferguson got 95% of the same players to win the PL at a canter last season. You cannot say that our demise this season has not been Moyes' fault. The players take a lot of blame but so does the manager.

Whoever comes in next year has a big job but we have a decent base to build on. 4-5 signings with a top manager and we will be top 4 again easily.
